"For to me to live is Christ" (Philippians 1:21).

This is a statement of personal identity. Paul's identity was completely wrapped up in the person and work of Jesus Christ.

We either find meaning and purpose in Christ, or it is rooted in some other, lesser source: personal success, family acceptance, career advancement, etc.

What did you live for this week? What motivated your decisions? How did you spend you time, and why? How did you budget your paycheck? What was your comfort in personal challenges or discouragement?

Our goal with this message is to purposefully, consciously ground us as Christians in Christ as our identity.
