In the opening verses of 1 Corinthians 15, Paul grounds the whole church once again in the common ground that every Christian shares: the gospel of Jesus Christ.

He says, in effect, “Brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, the gospel you received, the gospel in which you stand, the gospel by which you are saved." And so Paul goes on to describe this Christian gospel which saves.

What does it look like? Paul gives us here one of the most explicit, prioritized descriptions of the Christian gospel to be found anywhere in the New Testament. And it is rooted in the deep soil of the historical fact of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Join us, then, as we hear from the apostle Paul himself the gospel by which you are saved.
