Today we want to consider the clarity of Scripture. When we say God’s Word is clear, we are saying that it clearly imparts understanding even to the uneducated, even to the young, even to the spiritually ignorant or immature (Psalm 119:130).

God’s Word is written to impart wisdom to the simple, and so it addresses itself to every segment of society: the poor as well as the rich, the uneducated as well as the educated, children as well as parents, the spiritual rookie as well as the spiritual giant.

The Bible gives light to anyone who is in the dark spiritually – and that is all of us! The Bible is for you. It is not merely for you – it is not you-centered – but its message is for you!
