When God is my refuge, there is no need to fear. That is the claim the Psalmist makes.

My faith is not in the immovability of this earth, but of my God; not in the beauty of the ocean, but in the goodness of my God; not in the strength or grandeur of mountains, but in the majesty of my God.

Because God is my refuge, even mountains and oceans and earthquakes will never be able to crush me, or even harm me at all.

God is the only genuine refuge, because nothing else will hold through the storms and troubles and trials of life. Is God your refuge?
