"Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength" (Isaiah 26:4).

A radio listener contacted us some time ago with this question: "How do you put your trust in God when everything's going wrong?" We respond to that issue in today's message.

First, we consider assumptions made. To say that everything is going wrong is a statement without factual support. God is still on the throne and has sovereign control of all things. Not everything that appears wrong is wrong. For God's children, good comes from adversity.

We then move on to truth considered. The fact is, God is good so everything can't be bad; and he has promised to be merciful to those who call on him.

And finally, we look at change needed. If a person feels God is not treating them fairly, they need to change their view of God and of self. We must recognize that we are not worthy of the least of his mercies.
