“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost” (Romans 15:4 and 13).
We first consider the source of hope. There is hope that will fail but we point to the hope that is solid because it is based on the promises of God. We then look at how hope is produced and finally, the blessing of hope.
This is Anniversary Month for the Baptist Bible Hour as we celebrate the completion of 64 years on the air and our theme for the month is Hope. We have a booklet entitled, There Is Hope—Stories of the Redeemed Life, Freedom From Addictions, which we will send for a donation of any amount.
